My mum makes these and she calls them wigglywoos. They are actually draught excluders but we like ‘wigglywoo’ better.

They’re beautifully made – none of this whizz up and down twice on the sewing machine nonsense, these are lovingly created with an inner bag so that the zipped outer cover can be easily removed for cleaning. The zip even has a little cover folded over it to disguise it.

The patterns are meticulously matched up either side of the zips and the zips are coloured to coordinate with the fabric as closely as possible. The inner bags are carefully stitched with neat, inverted seams.
